William “Bill” Lee Fisher, age 74 of Kansas City, Missouri, died September 12, 2017 at Kansas City Hospice House.

 

Survivors include his wife, Wendy; sister Peggy Driver; daughters Brandye Fenn (Tim), Corey Kulas (Craig), Mulu Flowers; granddaughters Aryn Horne (Ollie), Leigha Fenn, Lea Timothee; three great granddaughters ; nieces Jennifer Dodson (Trent) and Ashley Driver; grandniece Kensie Dodson; grandnephews Kolby Driver and Carson Hickey; brother-in-law Dr. Burk Jubelt (Ann), niece Dr. Lindsay Jubelt (Dan Fleder), nephew Matthew Jubelt (Leah), daughters Willa and Etta, son Luke and many cousins.

 

Bill was born on August 11, 1943 in Springfield, Missouri to Charles Marion Fisher and Margaret Elizabeth Brown. He attended Paseo High School and on August 12, 1960 at the age of 17 he joined the United States Air Force where he was an Air Transportation Superintendent and had three tours in Vietnam. He retired from the Air Force on September 1, 1981. Bill then worked in the trucking industry and was a terminal manager for PFT Roberson for twelve years. He worked for AT&T as a customer service representative and US Bank as a personal banker. After retiring, Bill was a volunteer driver for Cancer Action.

 

Bill was a member of Ivanhoe Masonic Temple, KC Scottish Rite, Ararat Shrine Temple, American Legion and VFW.
