Erica Lane (Macgregor) Hall, Age :48

Jan 19,1970---Jan 31,2018

Our lovely, precious Erica will be remembered by her family as a vivacious, yet often shy mother, daughter, sister, cousin, coworker, employee, and friend, who honestly didn’t realize her own worth. She loved running and hoped to return to it a year after hip-replacement surgery. She loved plants, and working beside her sister Sandy at a garden center for a few summers. This was a highlight she recalled often. She loved working, especially outside. A favorite thing was mowing and caring for the lawn. Sitting on the deck talking with her sons Mitchell and Matt made her very happy. She had many jobs, starting at 15 years old. Her work ethic was strong, she liked keeping busy. Her greatest love was her family. She enjoyed going out with friends, taking selfies of the people she knew best and posting them on FaceBook. Her mothering instinct was remarkable, from a young woman who showed zero interest in babies, she chose motherhood and excelled at being engaged with her sons in everything they did. She has been a karate mom, a baseball mom, a listener and questioner, and a mom quick to fuss at them if lines got crossed. She was so proud of them and fiercely stood as their champion. We who love her will be lost for a while, but we will never lose her dynamic spirit.
